Our Lady of Loretto Parish

Present:  Colleen Stubbs, Ms. Maino, Deb Porchivina, Lori Limchayseng, Kerry Laval, Rick Dalporto, James Wilson,

6:30 Opened the meeting with a prayer.

March minutes were approved.

Principal’s Report

• High school acceptance letters were received.  Five students were placed on waiting lists related to grades.  Since that time, two of those students have been accepted and three are pending this quarter’s grades.

Old Business:

• The Father/Daughter dance is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 17^th, 2007. 

• 2007/2008 PTG Board members are still pending.

Fundraiser updates:

•  Auction:  c-Market reports raising more than $16,000 currently and that number is expected to increase over the next week.  Approximately 150 tickets have been sold toward the car.  The committee does not expect to reach the goal of 450 tickets but is pleased with the amount raised already, which surpasses past 50/50 raffles. 

New Business:

• Sock hop plans were finalized including:

                                                             i.       Popcorn maker-Colleen will provide.

                                                           ii.      Flyer-Kerry will include in next week’s Wednesday Window.

                                                        iii.      Publicity-James has published on website.

                                                         iv.      Student Council will help clean up hall after event.

                                                            v.      DJ-Lori will coordinate students to participate.

                                                         vi.      Decorations-We will use what is in the hall and all will help.

                                                       vii.      Prizes-Gift cards will be purchased from Powell’s Candy Shop.

                                                    viii.      Games-We will include Limbo, Hula Hoops, and Dance.

                                                         ix.      Snacks-Rick will buy food from Costco.

                                                           x.      Drinks-Lori will coordinate.

• PTG closets:  The Board needs to decide on a date and spend time organizing the closets as well as inventorying materials.

• Room Mom appreciation:  This will be held as a breakfast on May 17th and will follow morning assembly with the students participating in showing appreciation. 

• The May PTG General meeting will include reports on total monies raised this year and allocation of funds.  The meeting will also include an overview of next year.

• The OLL Golf Tournament is being held in August and the PTG will provide a donation to that event as well as try to garner support from our parents through attendance.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:30.  The next meeting will be Tuesday, May 8, 2007.
