PTG EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING

Present:  Colleen Stubbs, Ms. Maino, Fr. McCain, Kendal Savelli, Deb Porchivina, Lori Limchayseng, James Wilson, Tricia Wright, Jeannette Weber

 

6:07 Fr. McCain opened the meeting with a prayer.

 

The board welcomed new member, Deb Porchivina.  She will be assuming Rick Dalporto’s responsibilities when the auction is over.

 

Principal’s Report

  • Patsy Berg will present information regarding Helping Hands at tonight’s general meeting.  They are trying to solicit new members.

  • Tuition increases will be announced tonight.  The increase will be 8% and will reflect the new salary scale and cost of living raises. 

  • The school is expecting enrollment to remain the same.  Kindergarten has accepted 25 applicants in comparison to 24 last year.

 

 

Fundraiser updates:

 

  •  Auction:  Mrs. Weber and Mrs. Wright presented this update.  It was suggested that a DJ would help decrease the overall costs but that idea was overruled. The decision was made to continue with the plan to have ‘Pride and Joy’ even though additional costs would be incurred due to staging needs.  The silent auction information will be presented at the general meeting.  Information regarding the start of the online auction will be distributed throughout the parish, St. Anthony’s parish, and in local newspapers.  Ms. Maino will evaluate the list of comp tickets.  The raffle for the auction will include a new car.

 

 

Treasurer’s Report:

  •  The report was reviewed.  No questions were asked.  It was reported that the Domingo, Randall, and Garcia families might be interested in hosting the crab feed in the future.

 

 

7:00 Meeting was adjourned to the General meeting.  The next board meeting will be on March 13, 2007.
