Fr. McCain opened the meeting with a prayer.
Principal’s Report

In
the Wednesday Window a flyer will be coming home
discussing the upcoming Archdiocese’s presentation, “Out
of Harm’s Way”. It is recommended that all parents
attend one of the two upcoming presentations. Dates are
in the Wednesday Window. This presentation is intended
to help parents and guardians keep children safe. The
church is supporting this in response to what has been
happening in churches and in society. The presentations
will be given at OLL and at St. Anthony’s church. The
Archdiocese will be auditing the number of people
attending. It is not mandatory but they are highly
encouraging everyone to go.

October is an extremely busy month at the school. The
Halloween carnival is coming up.
Fundraiser Updates
-
Auction: Mrs. Weber and Mrs. Wright presented this
update. The cost of booking the auction at Stonetree
golf club is approximately $5500 more than Embassy
Suites. Overall costs will even out due to the fact
that we do not have to decorate, as Stonetree’s ambiance
is more conducive to this affair. The food, band, and
other incidentals have been decided upon and committees
are working to finalize other events planned for the
evening. The ‘fund in need’ has been determined and
that will be the laptop computers for the classrooms.
Ticket price is set at $85 per person.

Crab Feed: Mrs. Battaglia presented this information. This will be the
last year for the Battaglia’s and they are looking for
someone to shadow them this year so they can pass this
fundraiser on. The cost of food is the primary cost of
this fundraiser. The crew and the PTG closet cover the
cost of incidentals. The DJ is booked and they will
have a 50:50 raffle that evening. Ticket price is set
at $50 per person.

Christmas Luncheon: Mrs.
Laval
presented the invitation that will go out. The theme
will be ‘Winter Wonderland’. Ticket price is set at $30
per person.
