St. Vincent de Paul Society

MISSION STATEMENT

The primary focus of our society is to aid the poor and promote spirituality amongst our members and clients.  We are all volunteers.

OUR LADY OF LORETTO CONFERENCE

Our Conference was established in 1994, to become a part of the District Council of Marin.  There are eleven other parishes in the County that have St. Vincent de Paul conferences and the Dining Room in San Rafael.  We are an affiliate of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul National Council of the United States.

We work with our clients in pairs, making home visits to each one who requests help with rent, utilities, food, etc.  Every penny of the money that is collected goes directly to our clients.  We have no administrative expenses.

MEETING INFORMATION

Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month at 7:00pm. in teh Library.  Meetings are usually concluded by 8:30pm.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Anyone with compassion and a little patience is welcome to participate in whatever way they can. The Conference welcomes all parishioners to join in its work at any time.  Call one of the officers for more information or just come to one of our meetings.
